We stopped by Riverside Johnny’s tonight on a whim, and overall had a pretty good experience! The “KFC” wings were absolutely delicious—sticky, crunchy on the outside, with just enough spice to make you reach for something to cool your mouth down! 🔥 My 21-year-old son had the Nashville hot chicken (with absolutely nothing on it because he’s a ketchup-only kind of guy 😂), and he said it was delicious, so that’s a pretty strong endorsement coming from him. I had the steak tacos with flour tortillas. The presentation was beautiful, and I was really excited to try them since they’re a signature dish. Unfortunately, they were a little disappointing. The steak wasn’t very flavorful, and the cream sauce left a bitter, pasty taste in my mouth. I finished them, but I wouldn’t order them again. The best feature of Riverside Johnny’s is definitely the location and outdoor seating. It’s right on the river, and the outdoor area is very well ventilated, so it wasn’t hot or uncomfortable at all. 🌴🌊 One thing to be VERY careful about: the floors are extremely slick and greasy. By far the best burger I've ever had. I got the Blue Burger and small Mac and Cheese. The burger had great flavor and was cooked with crisp edges; an art few achieve. The Mac and Cheese came in its own tiny skillet cooked perfectly. My sister got the Bistro Burger with Mac and Cheese, equally eyes rollin' to the back of your head good.

We went for dinner around 5:30 pm. We were seated right away and was able to sit on the outdoor patio overlooking the riverside. Views CHECK ✔️ Atmosphere CHECK ✔️ Service CHECK ✔️ (Vanessa our waitress was very attentive to our needs and served us in a timely manner) There was typical pub food to choose from but would meet the diet need for most people. The summer salad with grilled chicken was delicious; Johnny double smashed burger was tasty; the salmon dish was good but was heavier on the salt than expected. Definitely worth going back to when visiting again.

This was our first time in under the new name, well, recent name. Fantastic view, service and dinner. Off season so there was no line. Our server was prompt and very friendly. Let me just say they make one heck of a cappuccino martini. I'll leave it there. Appetizer came out hot and absolutely delicious. The main course was timely and also came out hot you'll see from the pictures below that everything was perfect. We will most definitely be returning.

This place absolutely passed the vibe check! From the moment we walked into Riverside Johnny’s, the atmosphere was welcoming, upbeat, and exactly what we’ve been searching for. The energy is fun without being overwhelming the perfect balance for a great night out. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. Everything tasted high quality and well prepared. The staff truly stood out friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Great service makes all the difference, and they nailed it. Since moving from Illinois to Florida, we’ve been trying to find a spot that gives us that classic hometown sports bar feel and this is it. Riverside Johnny’s is top-tier and officially our new go to. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, great people, and a great atmosphere! They definitely need to get a TouchTunes music box for their guests 💯
